We are so happy to announce our partnership with Voskos Greek Yogurt! I remember having a cup of Voskos for the first time several years ago at a run here in Burbank. I had never had Greek Yogurt before, but I was hooked. Voskos Greek Yogurt, founded in 2005, is the very first manufacturer and distributor of Greek Yogurt in the US and continues to be the leader and first company to offer Non-Fat, Low-Fat and Original in Plain and Flavored Greek Yogurt. Voskos takes a leadership position in educating consumers the nutritional benefits of Greek Yogurt and advocates eating Greek Yogurt daily as part of a healthy, balanced diet. Adding greek yogurt to your daily diet is a great idea for overall health and even weight loss...not to mention the fantastic amount of protein it has for a post Rose Run trot! Read more here... From The Crowd...
"The race this year was my first 5K since high school (26 years ago!). I had a great time and really enjoyed being in Petersburg. It felt great to run a race again (except the humidity killed in the third mile! :) ) I was happy to help support the charities in honor of Rose and my father who passed away from Cancer 7 years ago. I will be back next year!" -Michael Koczorowski
AboutThe Rose Run was started in 2009 by the family of Rose Marie Hunt. Rose lost her battle with breast cancer at the age of 54, and since then, her hometown and strangers across the country have come together to raise over $50,000 in her name for various charities and non-profits including, The Breast Cancer Research Foundation, The University of Michigan Cancer Center and The Petersburg/Summerfield volunteer fire department.
